Solu Digital and Finnish ICT services company Elmo have completed an acquisition. As part of the transaction, Solu Digital will continue to operate under its own name as part of the Elmo Group. The combination brings together Solu Digital’s deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, data, AI, and information management with Elmo’s broad capabilities in ICT services, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services.
For our customers, the acquisition means a broader service offering. Solu Digital’s familiar experts, services and points of contact will remain the same, while Elmo brings strong technical delivery capabilities and cybersecurity expertise alongside our existing expertise. Our goal is to help customers build secure and scalable real-world solutions that turn data, AI, and Microsoft 365 environments into real business value.

Elmo brings nationwide service capability and deep expertise in outsourced ICT services, Microsoft cloud services, and cybersecurity to the combined offering. In addition, Elmo’s ISO/IEC 42001-certified AI management system is among the first of its kind in Finland and strengthens the foundation for developing AI solutions responsibly, securely, and over the long term.
For the past 15 years, Solu Digital has helped organizations develop information management, digital collaboration, data-driven decision-making and business processes with Microsoft technologies. Our expertise covers SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot, Microsoft Fabric, and the continuous development, maintenance, and user support of solutions.
“At Solu Digital, we have been building expertise since 2011 in bringing technology, information and people together. As part of Elmo, we can bring this expertise to an even broader customer base and offer our customers more comprehensive services than before. Elmo’s strong customer-oriented and people-centered culture makes it a very natural partner for our next phase of growth,” says Solu Digital CEO Jari Kyläjärvi.
Together, we can support customers as a partner that not only keeps day-to-day ICT operations running smoothly but also helps modernize operations and build scalable solutions and lasting competitive advantage through AI and technology.
“For us, this is not just an acquisition or a step toward becoming larger. It is a significant leap in capability. AI is no longer a separate technology project; it is becoming part of almost all work and business. We want to help our customers move from AI talk to concrete, secure solutions that deliver measurable value,” says Elmo CEO Janne Aaltonen.
“Solu Digital has exceptionally strong practical expertise in Microsoft productivity solutions, information and data management, and AI. A good example is Solu 365®, which automates the creation and management of Teams groups, harmonizes operating models, and improves information management and security. The solution demonstrates concretely how Microsoft technology can be productized into a service that makes customers’ everyday work easier and improves productivity. Even more importantly, Solu Digital approaches technology through people, work and the customer’s business. In this thinking, we have a very strong shared foundation,” Aaltonen continues.
After the acquisition, Solu Digital will continue as a separate company under its own name as part of the Elmo Group. The acquisition will not cause interruptions or immediate changes to customers’ day-to-day operations. The acquisition will be completed on September 30, 2026, and the purchase price will not be disclosed.
